Features
For the last 150-or-so years the River Market has been a huge part of Kansas City and it's still a mainstay for Kansas City residents. Not only is it a place to socialize and buy fresh foods, it is increasingly becoming a place to settle in and live.
Today, Kansas City citizens gather in the River Market Square to eat, shop, and hang out. On the weekends, children can catch a ride on a pony or in the barrel train. People can purchase fresh food, plants, and other wares from local farmers and vendors as well as permanent shops located inside and outside the Square.
