Al Dimmitt, Dean of Instructional Services, explains why. "[There are] a lot of reasons," Dimmitt says. "One is a fluctuation in enrollment, expenses, rising costs, [and] initiatives that are very costly."

Features
There is still a chance to catch a long-standing Kansas City tradition. The Renaissance Festival is in full swing and there are only a few weeks left. You can attend the festival on weekends, with the last weekend ending on October 13th. Along with the customary festival shows, vendors and events, each weekend brings new themes and new adventures.
The town of Bonner Springs, KS becomes the town of Canterbury and hosts yearly themes in addition to the weekly themes. This year's theme is Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. The town was full of fairies and half-human-half-animal characters. Shakespeare's story was retold on several festival stages, which is a must see for all festival attendees.

Opinions
We know the U.S. of A. has become the laughingstock of many other countries, but are we really so defeated that it's gotten to the point where we will throw anyone in office? Have our spirits been broken to the point that we throw darts at a wall to decide who our next Vice President should be?
