Jayne is currently finishing up pre-requisites for veterinary school. Yes, she knows that it is harder to get into veterinary school than medical school, but she chooses to try anyway.

Jayne graduated from KU in 1992 with a Social Work degree and then went on to earn her Master's from Washburn. She was a practicing social worker for 12 years. "Helping people is very overrated," she says.

Jayne has always had a love for animals and a desire to know how to practically help improve their health. In a roundabout way she will still be helping people by helping their animals. She made a decision after being transferred for the third time that she no longer wanted to continue as a medical social worker and began to investigate other possibilities. She decided to make the leap, so here she is now.
