News You Can't Use But That Probably Involved Booze

Some news is there to educate, to expand the reader's knowledge of the universe. Some news inspires thought and action. Some news pulls at your heartstrings through stories of trauma, bravery, or despair. This is not that news.

Bao Xishun, who is 56 years old and measures 7 feet 9 inches, has been looking for love for decades. Now, the world’s tallest man seems to have found it. The Beijing News reports that the "selection process" involved marriage advertisements across the world. The lucky woman is only 5’6”. This summer, the dreams of The Simpsons fans may be realized as Kwik-E-Mart is brought to life. 7-11 is sealing a deal to give 11 of its locations a makeover. The stores will sell products such as KrustyO's cereal and Buzz Cola, inspired by the TV show. The release will coincide with the upcoming Simpsons movie, scheduled to be released on July 27.
