On December 12, 2006, the Office of Campus Life and Leadership and Cafe Scout will offer students a "Get Stuffed and Study" breakfast. This pancake and waffle breakfast, beginning at 8am, is an effort to encourage students to take advantage of the Teaching/Learning Center, Academic Computer Lab, library, and other free services prior to final exams.
"With the two ice and snow days just before finals, a lot of students missed valuable time in both the classroom and the labs," said Campus Life Coordinator Mindy Johnson. "They need this time to catch up. This is a chance to do some last-minute studying and fill their bellies," she said.
"We know that finals can be stressful, especially if you wait until the last minute to study," stated Johnson. "We want them to know that we are still here to help them get in that last-minute preparation before finals. Students can capitalize on this opportunity to access services."

“This is the first time that we have ever done this, so I’m kind of anxious to see how it goes,” said Johnson. “And although this breakfast is open and geared primarily towards the students, we’re not going to turn anyone away.”
