Thinking about what you are going to do for Halloween? Well, think no more. Worlds of Fun is having the largest Halloween-themed event in the area: Halloweekends.
This year's seasonal events include the Extreme Five Haunts, daytime scare-free fun, and a lot more. It costs $39.95, with unlimited access to all the attractions.
Halloweekends is included in the park, along with all the rides. There are five Extreme Haunted Houses, intended to scare your hair straight. In different locations of the park you will find the Asylum Island, Dominion of Doom, the Fright Zone, Lore of the Vampire, and Camp Gonnagitcha.
There is even a haunted house for the kids called the Magical House of Boo Hill. As you walk through the park, you will find skeletons, caskets, cemeteries, and other decorations for Halloween fright.
Along with all the thrilling rides, there is a spooky comedy show with a twist of horror that will have you laughing right out of your seat. You can sing and dance or listen to a story-telling witch. If you get bored, you can go watch the magic show.
"Everything is bigger this year," stated public relations manager Nick Guevel. "We are using both parks. Asylum Island, a mental hospital for the criminally insane, is in Oceans of Fun. The daytime "scare-free" fun is for the entire family. It gets more frightening at night."
"The regular price is an added value. You get the normal attractions plus the haunted houses," Guevel said. The best value for the Halloweekend is the Fright Feast. This includes admission and an all-you-can-eat meal, priced at $29.95. Tickets must be purchased two days prior to your visit.
Halloweekend is open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday beginning September 23-October 29, 2006. For more information log on at: www.worldsoffun.com.
